Hubbard Street 2 is a young vibrant company of six dancers performing a dynamic repertoire that is full of variety and vitality. Led by Artistic Director, Julie Nakagawa Bottcher, Hubbard Street 2 combines theatrical, jazz, modern and classical ballet techniques as it performs works by some of the nation's most promising choreographers. At first glance, Hubbard Street 2 appears to be a training company for the name recognized Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. However, this small company has its own tremendous power and energy. The dedication, skill and persistence of the company members has led them to perform in such places as The John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts in Washington D.C. and Johannesburg, South Africa.
