The pictures I promised (maybe)

Here are some pictures of my room. Not real exciting. Some of them are also the view from my room. I finally got on the internet in my room to upload them.

KENNY CHESNEY HERE I COME!!!!!!!!

Yay! I got Kenny Chesney concert tickets! Woo hoo! I probably will be more excited when I finally get over where we are sitting. We're in Section 33, row s. I'm not terribley happy about that. Oh well. The tickets are kinda expensive too, but it will be worth it. I'm gonna work hard to. This will be my reward for the semester. I just thought I'd let y'all know.

This is the seating chart at the fargo dome.

My weekend

I had some pictures to share with everyone, but I can't get on the internet in my room to get them uploaded to the internet. I'll try to get them up sometime soon (don't worry, they're not very exciting).

Well anyways, my weekend wasn't too eventful. I was supposed to work on friday night but we had a blizzard, so I didn't want to drive. I hung out in my room and didn't do much. I just watched movies all night. (REMINDER: Don't watch the movie "Honey," it was bad.) Since I didn't work friday, I had to work on Saturday morning. It took me 40 minutes to clear off windshield enough to see through. The ice was to thick, it wouldn't scrape up very well. So I was late for work. After work, I cleaned my room. (I know what you're thinking: "WOW, she cleaned her room" and I bet you're being sarcastic too. JK) That was a huge accomplishment. My stuff wasn't very messy, but my roommates stuff was. I just put her stuff into piles so it doesn't look so bad. Later, I went to the Mens and Womens basketball games. The first college basketball games I've ever been at. The women beat Concordia St. Paul, and I'm not quite sure how the men did because I left at halftime. On Sunday, I didn't have to work at all, which was kind of nice. It was Kenny Chesney weekend on CMT, so thats pretty much what I did. Talked to some people on the phone for a bit, then watched Kenny some more. Then I went to supper. And went back to my room to watch the live Kenny Chesney concert on CMT.

I'm sure that you're all "thrilled" to know how my weekend went. I bet you were just "dying" to know. Just kidding. I'm sure there is someone out there who cares how my weekend went.

Breast Cancer Awareness

Recently, at MSUM, there has been a trend going around with these bracelets. The popular ones are yellow, and they say "Live Strong" on them. I havn't been able to get my hands on these because the website was being stupid. These bracelets represent cancer research and awareness. I recently bought some pink ones, for breast cancer awareness. These are very rare. I had to pre-order them because they ran out fast, so they will be shipped out on January 27. I would have just like 1, but you have to buy them in packs of 10, 100, or 1000. I just bought 10 of them, and they are only $2 each. I will probably sell the rest of them to my friends. I really do want to get a "Live Strong" bracelet too, but I will just have to wait. If you want a breast cancer awareness bracelet, go to: www.lifebracelets.com. You can also get bracelets Muscular Dystrophy, Multiple Sclerosis, and other Cancers.

If you want a yellow bracelet, go to www.laf.org.

Heat Wave!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It has been very, very, very cold here the past week. I think that the warmest it ever got was -11, but we did, of course, have a wind chill. On Friday it was somewhere around -41. We still had to go to class. Oh well, I survived. Today it's supposed to warm up to somewhere around a comfortable 30! Yay, I better go put on some shorts (just kidding). Classes are going great, I have CADD and English today, my first rough draft is due today. I really like CADD, except right now it's very repetetive. I have Sociology, Archaeology, and Philosophy on MWF, those classes are ok, there's alot of reading involved. I just finally got all of my books, and I probably spent over $300. Well I gotta get to class, sorry the pictures didn't show up from my last post.

Last Day at Home

This picture was taken this New Year's Eve of Holly, my Mom, and me in our MSU Moorhead sweatshirts (we didn't plan this). I reallly enjoyed my vacation, especially not having to work. It was great to see all of my family and friends again. I also enjoyed sleeping in. I am going back to Moorhead tomorrow around 1, so hopefully I should be back to watch Minnesota lose to Green Bay (But I hope they wont). My classes start back up on Tuesday, with CADD and English. Then on Wednesday I have Sociology, Archaeology, and Philosophy: Contemporary and Moral Issues. I hate registering last! I also start work sometime this week, I'll check my schedule when I get back. I hope that the roads are finally clear of ice, I don't like driving. Well I hope that this semester will be a little better than last, I now know where everything is so it should be better. Well, Have fun!

This is Krissy, Melissa, Trudy, and me at our New Year's Party. It was tons of fun!
