Well, on Saturday I woke up with a sore throat. Grrrrrrr. Yesterday, it got pretty bad, I had a stuffy nose, a slight fever, and a really bad sore throat and a cough to go along with it. Today I feel quite a bit better, but I still have a sore throat and a cough. So now you know about my cold.
Anyways there was a point to that paragraph...So I'll start at the beginning. A few days ago I was listening to my favorite radio station in the FM area, Froggy 99.9 (www.froggyweb.com). They had an ad for Thanksgiving, which said if you went to their website, you could fill out a form for a song that you're thankful for, and they would play it this thanksgiving weekend. So I filled out this form, I requested "Fishin' in the Dark." Anyways, today Hoppy Gilmore (one of the DJ's) gives me a call and asks me to say a few things because they are going to put my wonderful, raspy voice on the radio. So here is what I said: "Hi, I'm Annie from Moorhead, and the song I'm thankful for is "Fishin' in the Dark" because it's the song all of my friends sing and it reminds me of all the good times I've had with them." They said they would give me a call when my song would be played, so I can here my wonderful self on the radio. Oh my goodness, I actually sound pretty bad right now. Oh well, it's exciting anyway.

Howdy
Hi everyone! Sorry about that last post, I thought that it was somewhat funny. Anyways, I really wanted to tell you about last weekend, even though it was about a week ago.
Well Friday, Dierks Bentley was in Fargo at Playmakers, I really wanted to go but unfortunately, it was sold out! I was really sad, so then I went online to see if I could find something to do that was entertaining for the under 21 crowd. I found out that there was a football game at the Fargodome, so me and my roommate went. It was Minnesota High School football, which brought back a lot of memories for me. Alexandria vs. Rocorri, I didn't see the entire game, but in the 3rd quarter it was only 3-0. We also had Dippin' Dots, which I highly recommend the Banana Split if you ever eat dippin' dots.
On Saturday night, my roommate and I went to a hockey game. And you might not believe this, but that was my first Hockey game ever. We went to cheer the FM Jets, but unfortunately, they lost to the Bismarck Bobcats. Anyways, we got to the game, and some guy was handing out free tickets, so we took them, it was awesome! So we walk into the stands in total darkness and it was quite entertaining to find a seat. Anyways...Bismarck scored 3 goals in the first period, which was sad, but oh well. We almost got hit by a puck, which was pretty scary for a few seconds, and there were two fights in the game. I enjoyed my experience. Yah, I'm a dork.
That was my exciting weekend, I'm proud of it! So yesterday, I got to register for my classes, and I'm kind of excited about it, although I don't get to start any real architecture classes until next fall. Anyways, here is my schedule
Monday and Wednesday:
Speech
Intro. to Construction Management
Tuesday and Thursday:
Psychology
American Music
Poverty and Discrimination
3D Modeling
If you didn't notice, I don't have any classes on Friday's. Woo Hoo!

A tragic accident

It is a story so tragic, that I can hardly bare to tell it to you. Last month, Rocky and Bullwinkle were killed. It is hard to know exactly what happened, but I was able to put together some information. It was a normal day in Frostbite Falls, and Bullwinkle was on his way to Rocky's house. Bullwinkle, being, well...Bullwinkle, enters Rocky's house without knocking to a gruesome sight. Two men standing over Rocky with a gun. Bullwinkle tried to get away, but was unfortunatly murdered. They were sold to a shoe company where the image you see above, is all that remains of our beloved cartoon characters. We will all miss them dearly.

We have finally found out what happened to Bambi's mother. I, like many of you, thought that Bambi's mother was taken home to become jerky, but we were sadly mistaken. As it turns out, Bambi's mother was sold to a shoe company where she was turned into the pair of boots you see above.
These two tragic events seem to have some connection. On saturday morning, Frostbite Falls police tracked the suspects of these events to a forest, where they were planning to commit another travesty. There was a struggle, but police finally apprehended the suspects after wounding them, the picture of the police and suspects is below.
