Picture of the Week 7/27

Ok, so i couldn't think of anything real interesting to post this week, so i just closed my eyes and picked a random picture and this is what came up. You can see me a little off camera holding onto Holly, and Auntie Patsy holding onto Holly who is drinking some coffee something-or-other.

Well summer is almost over for me, and it has been a pretty busy summer. I did get to see four of the five plays this summer, so I guess heres kind of a brief and probably not very good review of each of them.

Proof: I didn't see this one, but it was the first play we did
Urinetown, the Musical: Loved it! It was hilarious!!! If you get a chance to see it, I highly recommend it! It spoofed alot of other plays, and the only spoof I can remember now is Fiddler on the Roof. I'm sure to people who have seen more plays than me would have recognized the other plays in it. But seriously you should definatley see it if you like musicals or plays.
The Fantasticks: Ummm...it was ok. I don't know...It seemed kind of outdated and predictable. It was funny in places, but it really wasn't my favorite.
Wonder of the World: It was probably my favorite play this summer. It wasn't a musical, but it was hilarious!!! I laughed until I cried. It was shocking and slightly disturbing, but it was really funny! Y'all definatly gotta see this one.
The Boyfriend: Bad British and French accents...but oh well, i still enjoyed it. It wasn't bad. The actors did a wonderful job with the dance numbers and singing.

So there's my reviews. I'm going home tomorrow to help Holly with her senior pictures, then I have to come back to Moorhead to work at Kmart this weekend and work at the box office one more night. Then I have atleast a week off. I don't know when I work at Kmart, but I know that I don't work there next week, and I don't work at the box office until school starts again! So I'm going home and i'm excited! Well everyone have a great weekend, and you should all come and see Cats when MSUM puts it on in March!

Picture of the week...late 7/24

On friday, I will get to go home to help my sister out with her senior pictures. I can't believe she is going to be a senior!!! It seems like only yesterday when she was a little girl! *Sniffle* Well, I'm excited to see her, and hopefully I'll get her to smile in pictures!

Mom's new hair cut

This is my mom's new hair cut! I love it, it looks so good on her!

Picture of the Week...late

Well, last week I posted the picture early, so this week I made up for it by posting late. Just kidding. Anyways, since it's been so warm this summer, I thought that I'd remind everyone of how much snow we had last winter. This is me and Chuck standing by the snowbank in the drive way. I really don't miss the snow all that much, but I hate to be as warm as I am.

This weekend, my cousing Melissa came to Fergus Falls, where I met her, and we went and saw some barrel races. It was pretty fun. I got a little sun burnt in the the car, but it wasn't too bad. Well, i'm tired and can't think of anything else to write right now, so I'll talk to you all later.

Picture of the week (early) 7/6...Happy Anniversary Ma and Pa

Happy early Anniversary Ma and Pa! Ma and Pa have been married for 22 years, I always remember this becasue I will be 21 in September, so they are always a year ahead of me. This picture was taken at a New Years party at my aunt and uncles house, they are soo cute! :P

Anyways, if your wondering why I am doing this eary, it is because I will not have a chance to post anything tomorrow because I am going to Robins wedding. I leave tomorrow right after class and head to Bemidji, then from there were going down to Plainview (I think), and then to Wisconsin. And then on Sunday we are heading from Wisconsin to home, which I've been told is a 12 hour trip. I will be in a car for over 24 hours this weekend, but I think it will be worth it.

I am sorry if there are any typos, my hands are shaking so much from drinking coffee, that it is hard to type! Anyways...have a great weekend everyone!

Happy 4th of July

I hope y'all have a great 4th of July! I'll be at work, then I have to write a paper, but oh well.

And by the way, did you know that the space shuttle is supposed to launch today? Here's a link: http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/shuttle/launch/sts-121/launch-vlcc.html

Oh...and here's my favorite quote from independce day:

President Thomas Whitmore: Good morning. In less than an hour, aircraft from here will join others from around the world. And you will be launching the largest aerial battle in the history of mankind. "Mankind." That word should have new meaning for all of us today. We can't be consumed by our petty differences anymore. We will be united in our common interests. Perhaps it's fate that today is the Fourth of July, and you will once again be fighting for our freedom... Not from tyranny, oppression, or persecution... but from annihilation. We are fighting for our right to live. To exist. And should we win the day, the Fourth of July will no longer be known as an American holiday, but as the day the world declared in one voice: "We will not go quietly into the night! We will not vanish without a fight!" We're going to live on! We're going to survive! Today we celebrate our Independence Day!
