I had a sort of depressing day. I just gotta get it off my chest. I had to clean house today, cause we are having people over tomorrow for a christmas eve party. The high for today was -9, not to mention the wind! I went outside around 5, and now it's around 8, and I'm still cold. Right now it's -15, the wind chill is around -25, and tomorrow were having a heatwave, 2 above!!!!!!!!! Anyways, back to today, I had an eye doctor appointment. I hate having glasses, and I found out that they don't make contacts for me. You'd think with all of the technology out there, they'd be able to make contacts for people like me. For crying out loud, they make contacts for people with perfect eyes! I'm just really depressed about that. Then, since they had to dialate my eyes, I couldn't see when I tried to drive home, so I drove to where my mom works, and she brought me home when she finished. Her and my dad just got back from picking up my car where I left it. And I've had a headache for 4 hours, but It's finally starting to go away. Oh, I also have to have 2 pairs of glasses, one pair for reading, and another pair for every thing else. I'm not happy! Hopefully tomorrow will be better!

July 16, 2005
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince will be out in July!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait. I am so excited. I love Harry Potter! It's gonna cost around $30. That will probably be the most expensive non-school book I've ever bought, but it will be worth the money. I better start saving now.

My name is Annie, and I have a problem.
I am a Harry Potter Addict. I love reading those books and constantly keep checking out various Harry Potter Websites, my favorite is http://www.mugglenet.com. J.K. Rowling also has her own website, sometimes she gives her fans special surprises, like the one today. If you go to www.jkrowling.com, and do some exploring (click on the ring), and you'll get sent to a specail page, if you're up to exploring this page, you could end up with some very good info. I'll probably post again tomorrow! See ya later

YAY!!!!!!!!!!
I am home! It feels so nice to sleep in a comfortable bed! But I forgot my pillows at school. Oh well. It's a whole 5 degrees right now, I am cold inside. I should probably figure out how to adjust our furnace so it turns on when I'm home. I got to sleep in today, and I don't have to worry about any homework for 3 weeks! Yay. And Phantom of the Opera comes out next wednesday, I hope it comes to our theater here, if I doesn't I'm gonna cry!
Slate Magazine Cartoons

Hubbard Street 2
Hubbard Street 2 is a young vibrant company of six dancers performing a dynamic repertoire that is full of variety and vitality. Led by Artistic Director, Julie Nakagawa Bottcher, Hubbard Street 2 combines theatrical, jazz, modern and classical ballet techniques as it performs works by some of the nation's most promising choreographers. At first glance, Hubbard Street 2 appears to be a training company for the name recognized Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. However, this small company has its own tremendous power and energy. The dedication, skill and persistence of the company members has led them to perform in such places as The John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts in Washington D.C. and Johannesburg, South Africa.
"It's called the second company, but there's absolutely nothing second class about Hubbard Street 2." -Chicago Sun Times
Showing at MSUM on February 1, 2005, at 7:30. For more info call 218-477-2271
It's Snow!!!!
We got some snow here over the past few days, and now it's really windy! Yucky! The roads are really icy, I've never lived in town before, so I thought that they would atleast plow the roads, but they didn't. I had trouble crossing an intersection so I could park my car after work last night. It wasn't much fun. I had trouble clearing the 4 inches of snow off my car (or however many inches we got). I couldn't get the driver side door unlocked either, I almost broke my fingernails trying to open it. I had to open the passenger door to get in. There was also a lot of ice on my car, that wasn't much fun to scrape off. The drive to wasn't to bad, except for some icy patches, so I survived (0bviously). I also got a really good parking spot when I got back!

I'm Soooooooooo Excited!
So, I had ta write a huge ol' paper for history about womens roles in early america. Boring! I turned in my first draft and got a horrible C-. I wasn't too happy. The only reason I got such a low grade was because it was a page too short. So I fixed it, with some help from my Aunty Patsy (Thank You), and brought it up to a B+! I am so happy. I have one final left for today, but I just thought I'd share my good news with everyone!

I'm On the MSUM Webpage
This taken during orientation, the radio station on campus was giving away free CD's. I've heard of only a few of the People, most of them were local groups. I got one CD, but I haven't listened to it yet. I should probably listen sometime soon, I got it last August. I don't even remember what band it was. I'll let ya know later.

I have two finals on this coming friday (History and English). And then, next Monday, I have an algebra final, and then next wednesday, I have my Astronomy final. Then on Thursday I get ta go home!!!!!! I work at Kmart from 10-2, so I'll leave Moorhead at around 2:30 or 3. I should be home in time for supper and CSI :)! YAY!!!
Boys of Lough
On Saturday night, after working at the box office at MSUM selling tickets, I went to see the Boys of the Lough (pronounced lock). It was an amazing Irish band, playing traditional Irish christmas music. It was so much fun and so entertaining. I really enjoyed myself. I bought a CD, it was a little expensive, but I can't stop listening to it. The Boys (three of the five of them were older) were from different parts of England and Ireland, and even Shetland. They were hard to understand when they spoke sometimes, so I had to listen carefully. One of them sang a traditional Gaelic christmas song, in Gaelic. If you get a chance to see them, do it.
