Look out NDSU, here I come!!!

I met with my advisor today, it was pretty exciting. I told him that I wanted to start taking classes for architecture, which means taking some classes at NDSU. I will still be attending MSUM, but taking 2 classes at NDSU! I can't wait, hopefully fall semester will be better than this semester. I signed up for Environmental design and History of Architecture. I haven't had a chance to finish registering yet because I can't register here until Monday. Also good news--After this summer I will have finished all my liberal arts classes, so I can start taking electives! So maybe I can finish a half a semester early. I just need to talk to the Construction Management advisor to see if they will let me in any of their 300 level classes.

Anyways, this summer I will be taking 2 classes, along with working alot again. I signed up for:
Anthropology 202: American Indian Culture
Psychology 310: Psychology of Women

Also this summer, I will be moving off of campus! My friends and I have found a duplex located close to campus. I can't wait to move in, but our lease doesn't start until June 1st. Spring semester ends on May 12 (or somewhere around there), so I don't know where I will live for the few weeks in between classes. But, I talked to my boss at the box office and she said that she would find a way for me to live on campus for those few weeks, so I could continue working at kmart.

Anyways, hope everyone is doing well! I'll talk to you all later!

Rest in Peace Kirby!

"Kirby Puckett's going to be all right. Don't worry about me. I'll show up, and I'll have a smile on my face. The only thing I won't have is this uniform on. But you guys can have the memories of what I did when I did have it on." Kirby Puckett

I remember the world series in 1991, not well, but I do remember it. I would have been 6, so the memory is kind of fuzzy. My favorite player was Kirby, I loved him.

Well, I was watching baseball on Sunday, Twins vs. Red Sox (my two favorite teams), the announcers mentioned that Kirby was in the hospital after suffering a massive stroke. I was very worried, and I hoped that he would get better soon. But last night after checking online to see how he was doing, I discovered he passed away. I am very sad about this, and shocked. Yesterday was a sad day in baseball.
