One year ago I went in the ditch. It wasn't much fun! We had a huge ice storm but some how it seemed like a good idea to drive back to Moorhead. I made it to just past the entrance to Itasca State Park then went in the ditch to avoid rear-ending someone. My dad and uncle Jeff came to pick me up, but traffic was really backed up because two snow plows had gone in the ditch. A tow truck driver came and drove my truck out of the ditch so i was at least on the road again, even though i was almost too scared to drive. But i eventually met up with my dad and uncle so that my dad could drive me the rest of the way home. I had left at around 2 pm and got back after 8 pm. That was a long day! Classes ended up being canceled on Monday and half of Tuesday so I didn't miss much, but I still waited until Wednesday to come back. Hopefully I don't have to do that again!
